Now in its fifth year, the Millennial Gala unites changemakers, community leaders, and advocates around culture, storytelling, and impact. The 2026 Gala celebrates West African heritage through the stories of eight tribes that shaped the region — brought to life through cultural performances, diaspora storytelling installations, tribal heritage displays, and a curated West African culinary experience.
This year's evening is dedicated to our 2026 Honorary Organization, The Person Center — a Washington, D.C. organization dedicated to empowering African immigrant and refugee survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Through survivor-centered services, they help individuals achieve safety, stability, and self-determination while building a community where everyone can thrive free from violence.
